UC Men's Octet - Bohemian Rhapsody7-part acapella arrangement. Spring show 2003. To those who wonder where the 8th member is, go see the video "UC Men's Octet- 2003 opening video". Note: To alleviate any confusion, Rockapella never did this arrangement. Some time in the late 90's, the Octet's recording of this song was mislabeled online as a Rockapella song. This acapella arrangement has been passed along within the group from year to year since the 80's. The original arranger, it is believed, was a member of another Berkeley group in the mid-80's, and the Octet adopted the tune a couple years later.

So for the arrangement, I wanted to keep that "up and down" or bouncy feel of the guitar so I made sure to emulate that in the vocals, mainly the baritone. The beat box and bass came straight from the original track. The tenor I used as needed either harmonizing with the lead, or as a guitar harmony. Hope you like it!
